One Simple Goal Friends of the Browns Foundation is a newly formed non-profit organization based in Lakewood Ranch, Florida and built with a simple premise - Friendship. The team first came together when a family in our community named the Browns, had been dealt a very serious diagnosis - they discovered their oldest son had a brain tumor.  We wanted to help – so we formed TEAM BROWN. We are family, friends, teachers, coaches, and neighbors. We wanted to help in many ways to ease the burden and show that we care. This experience and personal journey has been an awakening for all those deeply involved. We have been so touched that we are committed to helping other families whom are facing incredibly challenging times just like the Browns. Our Game Plan & Main Mission Today Friends of the Browns Foundation & TEAMBROWN.org is a 501c3 organization that leverages their very personal experience to help families facing similar medical crisis. We are devoted to providing support through our network of resources and financial assistance for medical and non-medical expenses so that extreme hardship can be avoided for families of children fighting cancer.
